Hey! It’s Ta’Ron! Thank you all for reading my first blog post. My mom told me the good things everyone had to say and I really appreciate it!
I thought I would get you caught up with what happened over the holiday break. Let’s start with Christmas. Our family celebrates what we know as the true meaning of Christmas. That means first we take time to attend activities at church to celebrate Jesus’ birthday! This year we saw the final show of the play Awaited. Then, Christmas Eve, our church had a big Christmas performance and I learned about why Jesus’ birth is so important.
Of course we celebrate Christmas the traditional way as well. The best thing I’ve seen for Christmas gifts this year are LEGOS. Legos are good because you can never go wrong whether you’re buying a gift for a small kid all the way up to adults! For older kids there are plenty of sets and options. From superheroes to ninjas and anything else an older kid might be into. For younger kids, you can get the bigger blocks so they won’t choke. PLUS, there are plenty of Lego options for both genders.
Now that I’ve covered what was trendy for Christmas, let’s talk about New Year’s. For the New Year, most people went all out. Confetti, streamers, all of that fun party stuff my mom always has for really fun parties. That included fun decorations and games for adults and kids. My grandmother “Nani” always celebrates the New Year BIG because it’s her birthday! We always like to make the day extra special so that she knows she is loved on New Year’s Eve. Most people are usually out celebrating anyway, we had a big birthday / New Year’s Eve party and everyone was invited! I hope you all celebrated and enjoy your New Year like my family and I did!
